Mythbusters Moon Landing photo hoax 1

How can I get photos i burned onto a cd, onto my computer?
I have a mac, and use iphoto. My computer is going to be reset soon, and I wanted to get my pictures onto a CD so I could save them. But whenever I put the CD back into my computer, the photos show up Iphoto and when I try to drag them onto my desktop, it says "you do no have rights to these photos" or something like that. How can I get my computer to let me save these photos to my computer? They're MY photos!

  1. my bad i thought it was the other way around…

so the moon always has the same face twards the earth.

regardless …the damn flag is still there anyway unafected by radiation..

  2. Sorry, click on “hours”, and then on the arrow to the right a couple of times to start it.

  3. Go to your 360 page. Click on "My Page". Click on "Share Photos". Click on "Edit" by the album you want to delete photos from. It will bring up a screen showing you all the pics in the album. Click in the lilttle box by each pic you want to delete. Then go to the bottom of the page and click on "Edit". Then click on "Remove selected photos" (or whatever it says to that effect).

As for your profile pic, again, click on "My page" and then click on "Edit personal photos" above the pic. Then simply click on "Remove Photo" and pftt, it's gone.

    Hope this helps.

  4. Though I haven't tried it myself, I've heard that you can use a piece of dental floss to stretch behind the photo and gently "saw" back and forth to help the pic separate a bit at a time.

  5. No. Cameras do not have the software necessary to show a slide show on any digital camera.

A photo store may be able to give you the steps necessary to do this.

I recently had a DVD slide show with music made for a memorial service for a dear friend.

I scanned all the photo into Photoshop and re-sized them all to be compliant with the screen where they were going to be presented. I renamed them starting with 001openingshot.jpg and went from there. I burned them all onto a CD and gave them to a professional to make the slide presentation and make it into a DVD presentation.

  6. For less than $10, you can buy a USB 2.0 card reader or a USB flash memory card. You can use the flash memory to transfer your image files to the lab (the most practical since you can put just the image files you want on it)

  7. no, most places you can take the camera in, pull out thememory card {usually cf or microdrive on the high end cams} and stik the card straight into the card reader… works out well, or you can upload them onto your personal computer, and send them to print via the web… walmart, walgreens, target all do this, and im sure many other places do also. @ walmart, you can order the prints to be ready in an hour, and pick them up at the store.. works out nice, and theyre prints in general arent to bad

  8. By default the folder with all of the Photo Booth pictures should be in the Pictures folder for your user. If you open a new Finder window and click on your user name (by the house icon), you'll find a Pictures folder. Put the Photo Booth folder back in there and re-open Photo Booth and you should see all of your pictures.

    Hope that helps!

  9. you can upload your photos to the internet then download it later or maybe you were'nt able to burn your photos properly.

  10. Sideways, here’s a simulation of the earth/moon system circling the sun, from which one can see that the moon doesnt have a permanent dark side, but also days and night just like earth, but of course longer days and longer nights than we have.
Just click on “hours” to watch a fast forward simulation.

delete the spaces around the dots.

  11. It is not possible to remove (delete) photos from Picasa; however, Picasa does not make any copies of your photos or increase the amount of space used on your hard drive during normal use. Picasa scans your existing disk and displays the photos.

The only time you create extra is if you use the Save (to disk) feature which is optional. Read the Picasa Help system on saving for what Picasa does and how you might delete one of the copies of your images.

Otherwise, all the edits etc. are maintained in a database file(s) that are very small so you really don't have to worry about disk space and using double.

  12. wrong ..the moon is always facing the sun with the same side ..since when we see the bright side of the moon , its ALWAYS the exact same side with the well known “man on the moon” ..wich is a crater pattern that looks like 2 eyes and a mouth ..every time u look at the moon ..whether its a full moon or half moon or whatever ..the BRIGHT side is always the same .. since the moon’s orbit is synchronous to the earth .

this means the flag has ALWAYS been on the bright side, except for lunar eclipses

  13. There is no way for you to fix it. Attachments are not working. Skip them for now.

Yahoo is working on the site.

Do not install or uninstall any Yahoo programs.

Yahoo knows about your problem. Thousands of users are reporting this same thing. It may take days or weeks but it will be fixed.

Yahoo is working on the new Home Page redesign at the same time they are merging their Search features with Microsoft.

It is not your computer or browser that is causing the problem.

  14. no because your old computer is linked with your i pod or you could try logging in to i tunes with your old password and authorising your computer that may work.

  15. If your talking about die cutting, where the edges are rounded, there isn't any photo labs that will do that. A die cutting machine runs close to $1000. Your friend can always get an account with a photolab, I use Garden State Color. The sheets are $2.10 for a sheet of 8 wallets and die cutting is free. The shipping regardless of the size of the order is only $6. A really good deal. I did my cousins senior pics at cost and she saved hundreds of dollars for what I got her!

  16. You can but you would need to have all the photos from Both computers together in ONE file on ONE computer then sync – simple aye.
Just make sure that your iPod has its hard drive enabled in iTunes and then copy the photos onto a folder on the iPod to transfer them> put them in a folder on the second computer and then delete the photo folder on the iPod and sync the iPod with the second computer and you will have ALL of your photos.
    :)

  17. I too have found it very difficult to get an album set up for the 6×4.5 size. 6×4 is still the standard.

Most of the photo printing shops automatically crop off 1/4 in. on each side of the long edge to give 6×4 prints (whether you like it or not!).

Right now I have my camera set for 3:2 aspect ratio, so I frame and get 6×4's. At least the print shop will not crop off somebody's head!

The only other solution I found was to get an album with single large pages, then put a couple of 6×4.5's together on each page.

    Good Luck

  18. u wouldnt need led …led protects against neutron radiation ..for protection against UV all u would need is …UV resistant glass so ppl wont go blind ..but the flares happen once every 11 years and cant do any damage ..the flag from the first apollo mission in still on the moon unharmed.

and the moon always has 1 face bright and the other face dark …its always facing the sun with the exact same face….wich means ul never find the flag on the dark side unless there is an eclipse.

    fail.

  19. Buddy, why are you talking about the flag and the moon facing the sun ? apart from you being wrong about the moon, this is not part of our discussion !
There’s MORE than your UV rays, I discribed it in the post below, so STOP talking about UV, when there is far more energetic radiation. If you continue disregarding the cosmic radiation, gamma radiation and so on, I have to assume that you are incapable of grasping these facts which can be read in books and on the net 10.000 times, sorry.

  20. Sideways…sorry, you dont have a clue what you’re talking about – I just told you what radiation exists in space and you totally ignore those facts. Furthermore you say that lead only protects from neutron radiation (so why are we carrying lead vests when an x-ray is done ?) x-ray is certainly no neutron radiation. Lead protects from all radiation because of its high atomic number. And solar flares happen all the time, they just vary in extent… Please dont tell me to educate myself!

  21. every 11 years the sun’s solar activity reaches a peak ..and inbetween thoose peaks solar flares do happen but in smaller intensity …the UV rays cant harm anyone who is BEHIND something cus unlike radiation uv rays are just dangerous on surface contact ..

and incase u didnt notice the american flag and other equipment left over from past moonlandings is still there virtually untouched …UV is only dangerous if u look at it…it wont go throo a building or metal.

  22. the “man in the moon” is always seen from earth, not from the sun, the moon circles the earth and the earth circles the sun, so it’s not possible for the sun only to shine on one side of the moon (just google it). you keep surprising me more and more with your false knowledge – where did you get that from ? did you make it up yourself ?

  23. 1] hold the camera as far from you as you can and up in the air [slenderizes..ha]

2] alot of digital camera have a timer feature, so you can set the camera somewhere, turn the timer on, then move away and pose

  24. When you want to advocate the moon landing (as i do), you should do it with scientific facts. Otherwise, if you carry on like this, you provide the moon hoaxers with a target because your claims cant be backed up.
By the way, I forgot about your little moon story there – ALL sides of the moon face the sun, theres just the back of the moon which is permanently turned away from EARTH, not from SUN – please please please stop talking nonsense, it hurts.

  25. If you have Photoshop or most other editing programs what you need to do is go to image. Then choose resize. Then you need to select the size that you want it to be. You can enter inches or centimeters. Once you have done this save the file with a new name and you should be good to go.

  26. On the canon, their are settings in the printer preferences under features or extras.

Go the print quality and select warm ,vivid, or cool . These are individual settings which can give you brighter, warmer (more red) or cooler printouts (less red)
Usually the computer screen needs a printer profile to match what comes out of the printer vs the screen output. What you need to do is to print a colorkey and then, match it to the original on screen. You may need to tweak it so that the final product, when printed, resembles the screen at 95%. Save this as your profile.

So when you print next time, just open your profile settings and they will match the screen / printer.
